William "Will" Clark Lathan, III

November 24, 1975 — August 29, 2023

William “Will” Clark Lathan III, 47 of Albany, GA passed away Tuesday, August 29th, 2023.

Will was born in Falls Church, VA and graduated from North Stafford High School in Stafford, VA. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. Will served his country honorably in the US Air force and worked for the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Albany, GA. He was an avid video game player, enjoyed Anime, and going to AnimeCon. Will was a humble and reserved man with a kind heart.

Will was preceded  in death by his step-father, Vernon Gilley; maternal grandmother, Mary Lou Childs; and family friend, Carol Miranda.

Survivors include his mother, Peggy Jo Gilley; father, William Clark Lathan Jr., sister, Mary Elizabeth Horton; brother, Bradley (Lori) Lathan; sister, Caroline (Joe) Huffman; niece, Zoe Lathan; nephew, Jacob Lathan; and special cat, Kitty Widdums.

Will was laid to rest on Monday, September 11th, 2023 in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
