William (Bill) Olen Curtis, Sr., 78, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at his residence. He had worked for Cleveland Utilities as a lineman for 38 years. He loved softball, hunting, and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Otis and Cara Cheek Curtis; son, William “Bill” Curtis, Jr., brother, Glen Curtis.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sandra Lenora Curtis; children, Robin Michelle Ayala, Jacob Ryan Curtis, and Cody Ray Curtis; four grandchildren, Christian Ayala, Hunter Ayala, Autumn Ayala, and Summer Ayala; brother, Randall “Randy” Curtis; sister, Joyce Hodge and husband David; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
At his request, his body has been donated to science for the study of Alzheimer’s.
