Victor Charles Sustek

Victor Charles Sustek, 75, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Charles Sustek, and his parents, Victor and Edna Sustek.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Deborah, son Charles Sustek (Joanna) and daughter Christine Williams (James); five grandchildren, Natalie Sustek, Aidan Williams, Emily Sustek, Sean Williams and Quinlan Williams; and his sisters Patricia Batten and Edna Alford (William), nieces and nephews.

Charles was born in Bryan, TX graduating from Stephen F. Austin High School. He went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree from East Texas State University (Texas A&M Commerce) and a master’s degree from the University of North Texas in Accounting. He was a Certified Public Accountant as well as a professor of accounting for many years. He loved his family, friends and the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and football fan. He was an active member in his churches, most recently in Springtown UMC in Texas and after moving to Cleveland, TN, Emmanuel Fellowship.

The family will hold a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, having had a grandchild survive pediatric cancer, the family requests a consideration of donations to Children’s Oncology Group.
