Thomas Herman Logan, a distinguished World War II veteran, devoted husband, loving father, successful businessman, and devout man of God, passed away on Monday night, March 11th, 2024. He was born on March 26th, 1927, in Cleveland, Tennessee, to Reverend T.H. and Iva Logan.

Herman is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy, and his son, Danny. He also leaves behind four cherished grandsons: Brody and wife Melissa, Hutch, Dylan, and Tab.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy Moore, with whom he shared a loving marriage and welcomed their son, Danny, into the world. Herman was one of four brothers: James Logan Sr. (Carrie), Bill Logan (Polly), and Rhon Logan, and had a sister, Ann Thomas (Phill).

Herman's early years were marked by dedication and service. He attended Charleston schools until he made the decision to enlist in the Navy at the young age of 15. Over the course of two decades, he served his country with distinction, spending 16 years aboard a ship and actively participating in both World War II and the Korean War.

Following his honorable discharge from the Navy, Herman embarked on a successful civilian career. He served as a plant manager for Olin Chemicals and later for Magic Chef, where his leadership and work ethic were highly regarded by colleagues and peers alike.

Upon retirement, Herman and his wife embarked on a new chapter, relocating to Florida. However, fate led him back to Cleveland after the passing of his wife, where he was reunited with a childhood friend, Nancy. Their rekindled friendship blossomed into love, and they were soon married, finding solace and companionship in each other's company.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 28 years, Nancy Logan; stepdaughter Vicki Golden and her husband Randall of Russellville, AR; stepson Frank Faulk and his wife Gena of Georgetown, TN.

He is also survived by step-grandchildren: Jason Golden and his spouse Daranda of Russellville, AR; Neil Golden and his spouse Victoria of Atkins, AR; Charlie Golden of Milton, DE; Bo Faulk of Chattanooga, TN; and Lucie Ballew of Athens, TN.
