Taylor “Bozy” Cofer, 91, of Cleveland passed away March 14, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was a retiree of DuPont and a member of Westwood Baptist Church.
Taylor was a devoted father, grandfather and brother that will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Cofer; father, James R. Cofer, Mother, Effie Cofer; brothers, Donald Lee (Faye), James R. Jr. (Eva), Bryant Allan (Barbra Jo); sisters, Faye (Dale) Roark, Wilba (Otis) Poole, Dorothy Harris, Frankie (Leonard) Standridge and Geraldine (Homer) Harris.
He is survived by his sons, Michael (Angela) Cofer, Troy Cofer; grandchildren, Rebekah (Bryan) Reed, Joshua (Sammie Kate) Cofer, Mitchell (Rachael) Cofer, Dustin (Monica) Cofer; Eight great grandchildren; brother, Douglas (Sandra) Cofer and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Cleveland, with Pastor Nolan Phillips officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 12:00 to 2:00 PM
