Shirley Anne Lowe Carr

Shirley Anne Lowe Carr, 82, of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family.  She was born November 25, 1939, in Augusta, GA, to the late Judson J. Lowe and Leila Mae Barton Lowe.  She was of the Southern Baptist faith.  She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Jack Carr, Sr., three sisters, and two brothers.

She is survived by three children, Cynthia Elizabeth Chavous of Cleveland, Emma Lynette Caruthers and husband Michael of Cleveland, and Ray Jack Carr, Jr., of California; five grandchildren, Jack Chavous, Felicia Guzman, Emily Caruthers, Amy Caruthers, and Kelly Mulchay; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
