Sandra Dee Jones

Sergeant Sandra Dee Jones, age 53, of Cleveland, passed Monday, November 23, 2020.  Born on August, 24, 1967 in Savanna, Ilinois to William and Jean Skow.  She met Sergeant Troy Jones in Friedburg, Germany in 1987 while serving in the 3^rd armor division, and married January 14, 1989.  A Sergeant in the U.S. Army she served her county during the Dessert Storm.  There was nothing she loved more than her husband, her children, and her country.  She will truly be missed by all who knew her.  She was a member of West Cleveland Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband; children, Miranda Jean Jones, and Megan Faith Jones of Cleveland; sisters, identical twin Sharon A. of Wisconsin, Marlene Sorenson of Savanna, Ilinois, and Nancy Carpenter and husband, Carl of Clinton, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; and special adopted sons, A. J. and Tyler also survived.

A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Matt Word officiating.  Interment will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Full military honors, a white dove release ceremony, and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service. Due to the National Pandemic the service will be live streamed on Ralph Buckner Funeral Home Facebook Page.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., prior to the service.
