Russell Thomas Moncrief

Russell “Russ” Moncrief, age 66, of Cleveland, passed away on February 8, 2022 at Tennova Medical Center.  He enjoyed riding Harley Davison motorcycles and playing in his church band. Russ was a phenomenal cook working as a chef for a period of time. He was a high school wrestler in Indiana where he earned the nickname “Mongoose”. Russ was a genuine rolling stone.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Elizabeth Russell Moncrief; and brother, Ray Moncrief.   

Left behind to treasure his memory include his father Rev. Thomas S. Moncrief: daughter and son in law, Sherrus and Matt Cooper of Medina, TN; son and daughter in law, Christian and Katy Moncrief of Evans, GA; grandchildren, Madison, Alyssa, Lily, Emma, and Alexis; Nieces, Delina and Lora; and nephew, Anthony; as well as many friends.

The family will hold a Private Celebration of Life.
