Ronald E. Presley, 66, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 in a local hospital. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Westwood Baptist Church. He retired from Whirlpool Corporation with over 40 years of service where he had worked as a tool engineer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill C. Presley and Myrtle Marie Rice Presley; and his first wife, Kim McClure Presley.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Faye Ensley Presley; daughter, Melissa Presley of Washington, DC; brother, Alan Presley and wife, Mary of Calhoun, TN; brother-in-laws, Kent Ensley of Georgetown, TN, Billy McClure of Charleston, TN, and Randy Ensley and wife, Betsy of Georgetown, TN; sister-in-law, Susan Buttrey of Cleveland; niece, Anna Presley of Calhoun, TN, nephews, Jamie Ensley of Georgetown, Josh Ensley and wife, Amy of Charleston, and B.J. Buttrey of Cleveland; great-niece, Marly Presley of Calhoun, TN; great-nephews, Carter Ensley, and and Tanner Ensley of Charleston, TN; other special family, Alma Ensley of Chattanooga, TN; “granddog”, Maggie; and many friends and relatives also survived. .
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2020 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Caywood officiating. Interment will follow in Calhoun Community Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes concluding the service.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family requests that all who would like to attend to consider their health, and honor Ronald by attending in person, or via the live stream of the service on the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home Facebook Page. Mask, temperature check, and social distancing will be required for all who attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to a local animal shelter or rescue or consider giving food to someone in need.
