Robert Vital-Herne, Sr.

Robert Vital-Herne, Sr., 76, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, in a local healthcare facility. He was a lifelong member of the Church of God of Prophecy, and attended the Wildwood Church of God of Prophecy for over 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacques and Surina Vital-Herne; and two brothers, Marco Vital-Herne and Jean Elie Vital-Herne.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Delourde Vital-Herne; three children, Vladimir Vital-Herne, Robert Vital-Herne Jr., and Dana Vital-Herne; three grandchildren, Darrius Vital-Herne, Christian Vital-Herne, and Valencia Davis; four great-grandchildren, Angel Vital-Herne, Haddassah Vital-Herne, Rhema Vital-Herne, and Darrius Vital-Herne Jr.; five sisters, Prima Jose, Viola Cange, Ola Lee Valmond, Marie Pheobe Marion, and Florence Revelous; and a brother, Jacques Vital-Herne. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of his life will be conducted at Keith Street Church of God of Prophecy located at 4000 Keith St. NW, Cleveland, Tennessee, on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Winston Reid officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2023.
