Robert Tyler White

Robert Tyler White, 76 of Cleveland, TN took his ultimate “cruise” to his heavenly home on Sunday, January 21st, 2024 surrounded by his loving son and family.

Robert was born to R. T. White and Vesta White Crisp on May 2, 1947. He attended the Ocoee Church of God and was a 1965 graduate of Polk County High School. Robert retired after 42 years of service with Mohawk Industries. After retiring he enjoyed taking Carnival cruises anywhere he could go, from Alaska to the Caribbean. Robert was a friend to all and will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Rolanda Coblentz.

Survivors include his son, Richard White of Benton, TN; sisters, Beverly Rogers and Nancy Gates of Benton, TN; nephews, Alton Rogers, Jr. (Angela) of Florida and Mark Rogers (Rusty) of Benton, TN; nieces, Carrie Sermons of Benton, TN and Melody Stovall (James) of Cleveland, TN; seven great nieces and nephews; many special cousins; and a host of work friends whom he considered family.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25th, 2024 from 5-7:30pm in the Poole Funeral Home at 3000 Ralph Buckner Blvd. NE Cleveland, TN.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 26th, 2024 at 10am in the Poole Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Dill Cemetery 3787 Bates Pike SE Old Fort, TN 37362.
