Robert “Bob” Dean Brogden

 

Robert “Bob” Dean Brogden, 64, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, in a local healthcare facility, surrounded by his family. He was a devoted husband and loved cooking (especially grilling), riding 4-wheelers, camping, and gardening. He was employed over the years as a truck driver, and most recently spotted trailers for Mohawk Industries in Chatsworth, Georgia, before recently retiring.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Myrtie Brogden; a brother, Johnny L. Brogden, and his wife of 33 years, Tanda Davis Brogden.

 

He is survived by his nephew, Tim Brogden (Laura); great nephew, Kyle Brogden and great niece, Megan Brogden; nieces Kristy Kelley (Jeff) and Sheila Withrow; and great nephews Nathaniel and Chandler Kelley, Andrew Howard and Lucius Withrow; and his wife of one year, Annette Tinker Brogden.

 

A graveside service will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, in Sunset Memorial Garden Pastor Josh Taylor officiating with Tim Brogden, Kyle Brogden, Mickey Brown, Josh Taylor, Mark Liner, and Earl Brown serving as pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.
