Ricky Edward Wilhoite

Ricky Edward Wilhoite, 56, of Birchwood, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019, at his home.  He was born in Bradley County but spent the majority of his life in Birchwood.  He was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church in Birchwood.  Ricky enjoyed golfing, working outdoors, spending time with his family and going to church. 

He was preceded in death by his father, John Wilhoite; son, Matthew Wilhoite; sister, Lisa Irwin and niece, Sherry Judd.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ann Johnson Wilhoite of Birchwood; mother, Margie Wilhoite of Birchwood; sister, Joyce Judd (Gene) of Decatur and nephews, Riley Swafford of Decatur, Stan Judd and Austin Judd of Birchwood; several extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2019 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend James Hutchings officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
