Reba Jean Whitmire

Reba Jean Whitmire, 82, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at a local healthcare facility.  She was a founding member of Ocoee Church of God, and was a member of All Nations Church of God. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Robert “Bob” Lee Whitmire; parents Lloyd Waters and Lois Maney Waters.

She is survived by her son the Reverend Michael Lee Whitmire and wife Sandra; grandchild Callie Whitmire; siblings Dean Milen, Wildon Waters, Kenneth Waters, Yvonne Bullins ; several nieces and nephews also survive. 

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Ocoee Church of God the Reverend Michael Lee Whitmire officiating.  Interment will follow in Cookston Creek Cemetery with Kelvin Arrowood, Scott Henson, Josh Jones, Gary Miller, Zack Miller, Donald Phillips, and Carson Milen serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony and playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.  The service will be live-streamed on Ralph Buckner Funeral Home’s Facebook page for you to view.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory.
