Ralph Wilson

Ralph A. Wilson, 95 of Cleveland, TN went home to Heaven to be with his wife Gwendola on October 3rd, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was the strong silent type who loved God, his family and friends with all his heart. During the Korean War, Ralph served in the Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller. He worked at Magic Chef for 37 years until his retirement. As a faithful member of Big Spring Baptist Church for 78 years, he served several years as the Church Treasureer and after retirement he and his wife volunteered in the Church's Crisis Closet for 26 years.

Ralph is preceded in death by his wife Gwendola; son, Douglas Cash; parents, Paul and Mary Wilson; brother, Willard Wilson; and sisters, Nadia Kimsey, Wanda Thompson, and Eunice Evans.

Ralph is survived by his daughters, Belinda (Jimmy) Davis and Annette Wilson; daughter-in-law, Delores Cash; grandchildren: Kimberly (Daron) Miller, Jason (Heather) Cash, and Andy (Danielle) Odom; great grandchildren: Piper (Stephen) Davis, Micala Cash, and Taelor (Thaddeus Stedman) Cash; great great grandchildren, Bentley, Jaxon, Maeleigh, Lucas, Ryan, Jayne, and John; brother, Bill (Jackie) Wilson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 9th, 2023 from noon until the funeral hour at 2pm with Pastor Daniel Malone officiating at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens with: Jimmy Davis, Andy Odom, Jason Cash, Stephen Davis, Thaddeus Stedman, and Michael Evans serving as pallbearers.
