Phyllis Ann Spencer Liner

Phyllis Ann Spencer Liner, born in Cleveland on July 12, 1938, passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, November 8, 2019.  She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, William Franklin Liner, Sr.; son, William F. Liner, Jr. (Patty); granddaughters, Alexis G. Liner and Kristen F. Liner; grandson, Mastin Huggins; and brother, Donald Spencer. 

She was a faithful Christian wife and mother.  Phyllis served the church in many capacities over her lifetime, including singing alto in numerous choirs, serving as sound technician, and establishing AWANA programs in five churches.

Phyllis and Frank served 23 churches over the years before retiring to join the Mission Board where they served nine churches across the country.

A memorial service honoring Phyllis will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019 in the chapel of Serenity of Cleveland Funeral Home.  Her family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
