Paulette Elizabeth Currin Spaho, fondly known as Bette-Bette, brought warmth and joy into the lives of those around her with her infectious smile and heartwarming hugs. She was born on November 11, 1968, in Trion, Georgia, to Stephen Currin and Virginia Butler. Paulette's presence illuminated every room she entered, spreading happiness with her love for karaoke, photography, and the simple joys of life. Paulette's vibrant spirit led her to enjoy hobbies such as cooking, singing, painting, playing poker, and relishing in Mexican cuisine alongside her favorite banana pudding. Her ability to make everyone feel cherished and uplifted will forever be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her. On April 8, 2024, Paulette unexpectedly passed away in Cleveland, Tennessee, leaving a void in the hearts of many. Her proudest accomplishments revolved around her family whom she cherished dearly. Paulette is survived by her loving husband of over 26 years, Angelo Spaho, along with her siblings Paula Ware (Ivan), Stephen Paul Currin, Tony Ray Currin (Rochelle), special nieces and nephews Sharayah Ware, Ivan Ware, Jessica Thomas, Timothy, Nathan, Liberty, Nevada, Lucas, Kailee Currin, Kaitlyn Johnson; stepsisters Mandy Johnson, Tracy Crave and Sonya Kuykendall; as well as her favorite cousin Anette Currin Morgan and her favorite uncle, John Currin. She is preceded in death by her parents Stephen Currin and Virginia Butler; brother Clinton Scott Currin; paternal and maternal grandparents. Paulette's legacy lives on through the memories she created with all those whose lives she touched. Her smile and hugs will be dearly missed but never forgotten. May she rest in peace knowing that she brought light into the world and warmth into the hearts of many.
The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m Friday, April 12, 2024.
Service will be held in the chapel at Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cleveland at 1:00 p.m, Saturday, April 13, 2024.
Interment will follow the service at Lee Cemetery.
