Patricia “Nana” Ann Stacey Wilson, 83, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023 in Erlanger Hospital.  She moved to Cleveland in 2015 from Cincinnati, OH.  She is a member of North Cleveland Church of God.  She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and homemaker. Pat was the founder of ‘Bears from the Closet’, which was more than a hobby for her. She was a master seamstress and loved to make bears for people. She loved to work puzzles, cook, host parties, and most of all was a ‘gamer’. She could play a good game of cards with the best of them. She was a lady of faith and prayer and she loved her church.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman W. Wilson, Sr.; parents, Rev. E.T. Stacey and Zelphia Grose Stacey; sister, Myra Vaughan; and brother Rev. Gary Stacey.

 

She is survived by four children, Herman “Dusty” Wilson, Jr., and wife Jackie of Cleveland, Sonya Wilson and husband Rev.Wayde of Fairmont, WV, William T. ”Butch” Wilson and wife Cindy of Cincinnati, OH, and Steven K. Wilson of Cincinnati, OH; six grandchildren, Dustin Wilson, Tristin Schambach, Trevor Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Morgan Kawakami, and Travis Wilson; eight great-grandchildren, Riley Wilson, Jayden Wilson, Willow Kawakami, Milo Kawakami, Rio Kawakami, Raja Wilson, Maisie Wilson, and Aviana Schambach; sister, Yvonne Gentry of Phoenix, AZ; brother, John Stacey of Phoenix, AZ; sister-in-law, Adrell Stacey of Richmond, KY; brother-in-law, Rev. Charles Vaughan of Cleveland, TN; “honorary granddaughter”, Katie Donovan; and several nieces and nephews also survive.   

 

A celebration of her life will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at North Cleveland Church of God with Dr. Tim Hill and Dr. Mark Williams officiating.

 

The family will receive friends at the church from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. prior to the service.  

 

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Smokey Mountain Children’s Home in Sevierville, Tennessee. www.smch.org
