Maxine Virginia Brakebill

Maxine Brakebill, age 78, a resident of Cleveland, passed peacefully in her home on Friday, January 7, 2022 in Cleveland, TN.  She was a giver, giving of herself more than anything.  Her family, kids, and grandkids meant everything to her.  Maxine was just a strong, loving individual.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. Brakebill, her parents, Robert and Maxine Peters, her brother, Robert Peters, and her sister Leatrice Peters.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and Andy Brown of Cleveland; her son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Trisha Brakebill of Hixon; her son and daughter in law, Robert and Anna Brakebill of Ringgold, GA; her four grandchildren: Katie Brown, Nick Brown, Drew Brown, and Dakota Brakebill, as well as many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. Graveside Service at Chattanooga National Cemetery with the Rev. Marv Eskew officiating.  A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.
