Max Finkle, Jr.

Max Finkle Jr., 77 of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away Saturday, July 8. Max was born in Louisiana and raised in Cleveland, Tennessee. Max earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a competitive water skier, liked to go snow skiing and played tennis. Most of all he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his children. He was a graduate of The University of Tennessee Chattanooga. After college, Max worked for Magic Chef / Maytag for 30 years and later worked in commercial real estate.

Max joins his parents Max and Catherine Finkle in Heaven.

He is survived by his three sons, David, Joe and Chris; his grandchildren Morgan, Alexis and Andrew; sister Donna and niece Koren.

A celebration of his life will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2023 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023 at the funeral home.
