Mary McAmis

Mary McAmis, 84, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2021 in Cleveland, TN. She was a member of West Cleveland Baptist Church, an avid bowler, bowling two nights per week until she was 82 years old.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl McAmis, her father, Newman Dyer and mother, Margaret Farris Dyer; son, Steve McAmis; brothers Leon Dyer and James Dyer; and sister,  Sue Dyer Penwell.

She is survived by her sons, Keith McAmis (Jane McAmis), Wayne McAmis (Paula McAmis); daughter- in-law, Doris McAmis; one brother, Ken Dyer of Jacksonville, Fl; grandchildren, Angie McAmis Underwood (Jeff), Stephanie McAmis Painter (Corey), Carmen McAmis Cranfill (Jason), and Traci McAmis Elder (Adam); great grand children, Eli Painter, Easton Painter, David Elder, and Andi Elder, all of Cleveland, TN.

A Private Family Graveside Service will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Kenny Isbill officiating.  A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.
