Mary B. Frye

Mary B. Frye, 86, passed away Thursday evening May 6, 2021 at Life Care Center of Collegedale.  She was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, longtime member Bellefounte Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school.  She enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and also enjoyed going on cruise ships.  She was a great cook.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, William “Tob” Frye; brothers Sylvester Barbrow, Kyle Barbrow, and Millard Barbrow; sister Juanita Barnes. 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Dennis and Val Frye of Ooltewah; grandson and wife Denny and Amanda Frye of Cleveland; great-grandson Bailey Frye of Cleveland; sister Frances Stewart of Saltville, VA; several nieces, nephews, and many friends also survive. 

A funeral service will be Monday, May 10, 2021 at 7:00pm in the Chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Clowers officiating.  Interment will take place Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Elizabeth Cemetery in Saltville, VA with Minister Tim Surver officiating.     

Her family will receive friends, Monday, May 10, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm at the funeral home, prior to the service.
