Marilyn Inez Herring

Marilyn I. Dickinson Herring, 91 of Charleston, TN passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025. She resided most of her life in North Augusta, SC. She was born in Mora, MN to the late Orlyn and Lillian Daleen Dickinson. Marilyn was a member of Council Baptist church. She was a very loving mother and grandmother.

Also preceded in death by her children, Renee Horne and Robert Herring; siblings, Wayne Dickinson, Keith Dickinson, and Betty Sjolie.

Survivors include her children, Karl Truhn and Tami (Thomas, Jr.) DePuy; grandchildren, Shannon Horne, Stephanie Herring, Kimberly Herring, Robert (Haleigh) Herring, Lillian DePuy, Emma DePuy, and Samuel DePuy; several great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Friday, March 28, 2025, in the chapel of Poole Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Cleveland with Pastor Keith Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Hiwassee Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1 - 3 Friday, March 28, 2025, at Poole Funeral Home.
