Margaret R. Pardue

Margaret Roberta Davis Pardue went to her heavenly home April 28th, 2025.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a former employee of Bradley Central High School and was a faithful member of Bellefounte Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Vesta Rowland Davis, mother and father-in-law Carl and Ruby Pardue, sisters Juanita Davis (Rutherford), Trula Patterson (Ray), and brothers Harold Davis, Boyd Davis, and Ralph Davis. Nephews and nieces Wanda Davis, Ronnie and Trish Davis, David Davis, Jane Phemister, and Chris Bailey.

She is survived by her husband of almost 68 years, Joe Pardue, daughter Leah York (Andy) of Knoxville, and son Joe Pardue, Jr. (Shannon) of Cleveland. Two grandchildren who she adored Alexis Anderson (Taylor) of Murfreesboro, and Jared Pardue of Cleveland.

She is also survived by sisters Betty Torbett of Englewood and Ruth Patterson (Sherman) of Knoxville and brothers Glen Davis (Linda) of Cleveland, Jimmy Davis (Bobbie) of Seneca, SC, Tommy Davis (Gayle) of Athens, and Gene Davis of Athens. Sisters-in-law Wilma Davis and Barbara Davis of Englewood. Brother and sister-in-law Jackie and Helen Pardue of Palm Springs, Florida. Plus multiple nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 1st, from 6-8 pm at Bellefounte Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 3rd at 12 noon at Bellefounte Baptist Church with Rev. Lake Walker officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at McMinn Memory Gardens.
