Margaret was born in Chicago, Illinois, and always loved big cities along with her dogs and cats. Margaret's first job was in Chicago working for Don McNeil's breakfast Club radio show. She was Don's assistant while working in the Merchandise Mart building. She also worked for Paul Harvey while in Chicago. Then Margaret turned to hotels.
