Lillie M. Pierce

Mrs. Lillie M. Carroll Pierce, of Cleveland, TN passed away Monday, May 20th, 2024, at Bradley Healthcare & Rehab following a short illness. She was 83 years old. 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Poole Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Staton officiating. The burial will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery, Cleveland with Poole Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday before the service.  

Mrs. Pierce was born February 24, 1941, in Delano, TN to the late A.C. and V.L. Patterson Carroll. Mrs. Pierce enjoyed cooking and going to her river home on the Tennessee River. She enjoyed traveling to Pigeon Forge and spending time with her family in the Smokey Mountains.  

Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 43 years in 2017, Robert J, Pierce; two brothers, JR Carroll, and Charles Carroll; one sister, Ruby Mathis. 

Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Martin; three stepchildren, Jeff Pierce, Bruce Pierce, and Beverly Allen; two granddaughters, Tiffany Rattler (Ammons), Brittany York (Jason); one great granddaughter Summer Rayne Rattler; two step grandchildren, Chelsea Pierce, and Tiffany Pierce’ one sister, Louise Scroggins; several nieces and nephews. 

Ms. Pierce’s family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
