Leonard "Buddy" Sherman Geren

Leonard “Buddy” Sherman Geren, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away Sunday, January 25, 2026, at Bradley Health & Rehab. He was 82.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Poole Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, with Guinn Green officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Buddy was born March 22, 1943, in Bradley County, Tennessee to the late Theodore and Margaret Coleman Geren. Buddy enjoyed going to flea markets, watching westerns, and nascar racing.

Buddy was preceded in death by his parents, also a sister Luba Jane Hall.

Survivors include a sister, Jimmie Cissom, Cleveland, TN; two brothers, Ray Geren (Brenda), and Steve Geren (Sissy), all of Cleveland, TN; one niece, Christie Geren; six nephews, Matt Geren, Bobby Cissom (Gena), Dewayne Cissom (Robin), Roger Cissom, Scott Hall (Sandi), Shane Hall;

Pallbearers will be Bobby Cissom, Steve Geren, Ray Geren, Dewayne Cissom, Roger Cissom, and Rickey Gregg.
