Lawrence Franklin "Dick" LeRoy

Lawrence Franklin “Dick” LeRoy, 85, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at his home in Cleveland, TN.  He was born on August 30, 1934.  He was a member of Bancroft Church of God, where he loved to sing in the choir.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and working as a client at Life Bridges.  He never met a stranger; he would always greet you with a smile and a “Hey, Ole Buddy”.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer LeRoy and Nora Faulkenberry LeRoy; sisters Synthia LeRoy Scoggins and Ann LeRoy Lewis; brothers Homer LeRoy Jr., Raymond LeRoy, and Billy Joe LeRoy.

Dick is survived by several nieces, nephews, and special friends. 

The family would like to extend their sincerest appreciation to the staff of Life Bridges for the love and care they have given Dick over the past 25-plus years.

Funeral Services will be Monday, December 30, 2019 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, with Eddie Scoggins officiating.  Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery with his nephews serving as pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony and a playing of bagpipes will conclude the service. 

The family will receive friends Monday, December 30, 2019 from 12:00 pm- 2:00pm at the funeral home.
