Karen Michel Scoggins, 68, passed away Monday, May 29, 2023, at a local healthcare facility, with family by her side. She was a devoted housewife and faithful Christian, and had lived in this area for the last 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Scoggins, and her parents, Michael and Barbara Prychodnik.

She is survived by her step-daughter, Marisa (Franklin) Elmore; step-son, Slade Scoggins; step-grandson, Grayson (Ellen) Elmore; and great-grandsons, Orion, Zeke, and Lex Elmore. She is also survived by her two sisters, Traci Toomey and Lori Chissie , as well as several nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date.
