J.W. Kibble

December 11, 1933 — July 20, 2020

J.W. Kibble, 86, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 in a Chattanooga Hospice Center.  He was of the Pentecostal faith and attended the Family Worship Center.  He loved to travel.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 43 years, Shirley Christine Green Kibble; second wife, Reba Jo Wyrick Kibble; parents, Boyd Kibble and Rose Ana Lee Ingram Kibble; two sisters; and several brothers.

He is survived by his daughter, Christie Celeste Baggett and husband Roy Everett Baggett of Calhoun; grandchildren, Hailey Celeste Dockins of Cleveland, Hayden Kibble Gibson of Calhoun, and Brandy Elaine Baggett of Athens; great-grandchild, Nyomi Celeste Fernandez; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Roy Everett Baggett, the Reverend Isaac Walker, and Jon Franklin officiating.  Interment will follow in Fairview Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery with Hayden Gibson, Roy Baggett, Jon Franklin, Shawn Pritchett, Greg Jenkins, James Medlin, Paul R. Medlin and Charlie Franklin serving as pallbearers.  Jedsen Pritchett will serve as an honorary pallbearer.  Full military honors, a white dove release ceremony, and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

His family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
