Justin Todd Goodman

Justin Goodman, 37, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020. Mr. Goodman was a member of Mercy Tabernacle and was employed as a carpenter. Justin was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Local 74 where he served his apprenticeship and became a Journeyman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Douglas and Ressie Jean McCann Goodman; grandmother, Lorene McCann; mother-in-law, Shona Ross; and cousin, Jon’ David Nicolas Hembree.

Survivors include his wife, Rene Goodman; daughter, Helen Lorene Goodman; son, Douglas Carroll Goodman; Papaw and Mamaw, Bishop John W. and Hazel McCann; dad Johnny Bates;  step dad Trois Deal; aunts and uncles, Scott and Hazel Hembree, Bobby and Julia Burger, Pastor Edith and Kenneth Blair, and Wilma Allen; father-in-law David Stubbs; sister-in-law, Michaela Parris; brothers-in-laws, Micah Ross and Robert Ross; cousins, Rebecca Allen, Heather Sanders, Samuel Burger, Bethany Brady, and Joseph Allen; and other family to numerous to list.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Cumberland Shed Cemetery in Ocoee with G.W. Sanders officiating.

His family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2020 at Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home.
