Joyce Reba Price

Joyce Reba Price, 88, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was born in Cleveland, and lived here her entire life. She was a faithful member of Waterville Baptist Church, and had worked as a seamstress at Hardwick Clothes. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Price; her parents, Johnny and Hattie Beatty; and four sisters.

She is survived by her two sons, Phillip Price and Perry Price, both of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Dustin Price, Michelle Price, Sean Tovar, and Marshall Hulett; and three great-grandchildren, Paisley Price, Knox Rader, and Callie Rader. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of her life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2023 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Allan Lovelace officiating.  Interment will follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, just prior to the service.
