John Haywood Norton

John (Jack) Norton 72, of Cleveland TN formerly of Jacksonville FL, passed away on Thursday 21, 2022. He was a member of All Saints Anglican Catholic Church in Soddy Daisy TN where he and his wife were part of the church's original founders. John served on the vestry and was a lay reader during his active years. He was a member of the Fernandina Beach Florida Police Department for many years until moving to Cleveland TN in 1979. He was an avid Florida Gator fan. John worked at Bowater Southern Paper Company and Maytag. He was preceded in death by his wife of thirty years, Virginia (Tish) and his parents. He is survived by his son John Matthew Norton and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home in Cleveland TN with Father David Currie and Father Tom Law officiating. The interment will follow immediately after the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Cleveland TN. His family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p..m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
