Jo Logan Organ, 74, a resident of Bradley County passed away Wednesday March 20th, 2024 at Remember Me Senior Care Facility surrounded by family and caregivers after a lengthy battle with Dementia.
She was born and raised in Cleveland and was in the first graduating class of Cleveland High School in 1967. Jo was a member of North Cleveland Baptist Church where she served faithfully for many years.
Jo retired in 2020 from the Managing Broker position at Crye-Leike Relators concluding a 50 year career in the real estate industry. She was an accomplished business woman having earned numerous designations and awards and served on countless committees and boards. Her contributions to the local real estate community is immeasurable and she cherished those years along with the friends she made along the way.
Jo was preceded in death by her first husband, Rick Organ after 20 wonderful years of marriage and her second husband Wayne Miller after 19 loving years of marriage; parents, James Franklin Logan, Sr. and Lillie Mae Cannon Logan; sister, Linda Tacheny; brother-in-law, Richard Tacheny.
Jo is survived by her daughter, Emily Gordon and son-in-law, Dale; grandchildren: Nash, Jane, Eli, Cara, Chase, Cody, and Hailee Green (Tyler); brothers, Jimmy Logan (Cindy), Tony Logan (Carol), and Tom Logan (Angie) all of Cleveland; sister, Frankie Thompson (Herbert) of Viera, FL; bonus mom, Carrye Logan of Cleveland, TN and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 22nd, 2024 from 12-2pm at North Cleveland Baptist Church. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 2pm with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Tyler Green, Connor Logan, Michael Logan, Hugh Thompson, James Paul Logan, James Tacheny, Adam Organ, and David Organ serving as pallbearers.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the North Cleveland Baptist Church Building Fund in Jo’s memory at 2815 North Ocoee St. Cleveland, TN 37312.
