Jo Ann Williams Cross

Jo Ann Williams Cross, 83, of Benton, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at an Etowah health care facility.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Jo Ann was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Julia Mae Richardson Williams; husband, J. M. “Shorty” Cross; and son, Randy Cross.

Survivors include her children, William “Boots” (Candi) Cross of Benton, Anita Thomas of Athens, Juanita Myers of Calhoun and Michael Cross of Benton; several grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Benton Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Joe Brooks officiating.
