James "Jim" William Garrett

James “Jim” William Garrett, 49, of Cleveland passed away August 25, 2020 at his residence.  He was a former employee of Maytag.  Jim was a friend to everyone and just enjoyed talking to people.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Lonzo Garrett and Martha Elizabeth Pierce Garrett; and sister, Sabina “Pete” Ledford.

Survivors include his children, James (Desiree) Garrett and Elizabeth (Brandon) Fleming; grandson, Damion Garrett; sisters, Evonne Garrett, Vera Craig and Becky (Marty) Sprague; brothers, Johnny Garrett and Billy (Augusta) Garrett; and several nieces and nephews.

His family will hold a private graveside service at a later date.
