James Ronald Brown

James Ronald Brown passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020. He was born in Chattanooga to the late James Robert Brown and Thelma Pace. James was a beloved husband and father. He was passionate about being a Marine and proud to have served his country.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Carl Brown; and daughter Angela Clevenger.

James is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Brown;  brother, David Brown; sister, Maudie Oliver; children and their spouses, JB Brown and wife Michelle, Tony Brown, Katelan Hale and husband Dalton; son-in-law, Steve Clevenger; grandchildren, Jessica Werling, Brandy Gribble, Courtney Green and Callie Brown; great-grandchildren, Joshua Werling, Juliet Werling, Aiden Gribble, Noah Gribble, Raven Hale and Rayla Hale.

A celebration of life, with full military honors will be at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
