Helen Jackson Henschen

Helen Jackson Henschen, 81, a resident of Dayton, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 in Dayton, TN. 

Helen was born on January 23, 1940 in Aiken, S.C, but lived most of her life in Dayton. She was of the Lutheran faith and worked for many years as an accountant. She loved being a Brownie/Girl Scout leader, working in the garden, spending time in Florida and, most of all, spoiling her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Haskell and Ruby Jackson, her sister, Alice Jackson; her brothers: Luke, Robert, and James Jackson; and her grandson, Jared Miles.

She is survived by her daughter, Karla Kuykendall (Scott) of Dayton, her son, Thomas Henschen of Dayton, and her son, Andy Henschen of Dayton, her grandchildren:  T. J. Henschen, Dustin Henschen, Dylan Henschen, Ashley Miles, Eric Kuykendall, Joshua Kuykendall, Heather Hall, 11 beloved great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will be holding a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
