Hazel Beshears Bottoms

Hazel Beshears Bottoms, 86, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, January 10, 2020 at home a local healthcare facility.  Hazel was a member of Temple Baptist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Joe Bottoms; parents, James A. Beshears and Claudia Beshears; twin brother and sister, Paul and Pauline Beshears; brothers, James W.  (J.W.) Beshears, James L. (Pete) Beshears, and Leroy Beshears; and sister, Bonnie Ruth Horn.

She is survived by her six sons, Eddie Bottoms and wife Jennifer of North Fort Myers, FL, Robert Gene Bottoms of Decatur, TN, Johnny Bottoms and wife Donna of Englewood, TN, Tommy Bottoms and wife Redetha of Cleveland; Danny Bottoms and wife Bernadine of Niota, TN, and Billy Bottoms of Cleveland; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby Cross and Louise Ledford, both of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of her life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Ledford, Reverend Floyd Boggess, and Reverend Winston C. Ledford officiating.  Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Black Fox with Joe Bottoms, Thomas Bottoms, Mathew Bottoms, Tommy Arp, Tim Ledford, Terry Ledford, Maurice Lowe serving as pallbearers.  Ronnie Beshears and Horace Newman will service at honorary pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2020 at the funeral home.
