Hanh Thi Ngo

Hanh Thi Cao Ngo, 81 of Cleveland, TN passed away Saturday, October 28th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Hanh was born on March 20, 1942, in Hue, Vietnam, met her husband in Vientaine, Laos in 1958 and married on April 11, 1959. She and her husband lived in Texas, South Carolina, California, Illinois and Tennessee. Hanh was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Raising her children was her priority, and she was highly involved in raising all her grandchildren, as well. Hanh was a highly respected and very loved family matriarch. Hanh was an avid gardener and was known for her “green thumb”. She could grow anything from flowers to fruit trees. She was also well known for being a talented cook. Her Vietnamese food was famous in her family. 

Hanh was preceded in death by her parents, Cao Huu Phien and Nguyen Thi Su; brother, Cao Huu Phuc.

Survivors include her husband, Ngo Giu Quang; children: Ngo Quang Hung (Nam-Anh), Cam Van Thuan (Ghyslaine), Ngo Quang Minh (Que-Anh), Ngo Thi Bach Tuyet (Ty Suankeaw), Ngo Quang Tung (Huong), Ngo Thi Nguyet Thu (Brian Schiavone); grandchildren: Alexis-Saysana, Austin Quang-Tri, Jasmine Quynh-Tien, Simon Quangvan, Oliver Quangvinh, Makenna Thanh Thuy, Dillon Thanh Son, Joshua Quangvu, Dalton Hoang-Quang, Sophia Lan Anh; brothers: Cao Huu Thanh (Evelyne – wife, Anne – daughter) and Cao Huu Trung (Maite, Phien – children).

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, from 2-4pm with the funeral service beginning at 4pm at North Cleveland Church of God, 335 11th St. NE Cleveland, TN 37311, officiating by Pastor Mark Williams.
