Evelyn Jane Nipper Swiger

Evelyn Jane Nipper Swiger, 88, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in her home.  She was a charter member of Cleveland Christian Church. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert R. Swiger; parents Lewis Nipper and Winnie Grubbs Nipper; siblings Margaret Wheeler, Joyce Nipper, and Florence Zook.

She is survived by her children Richard Dean Swiger (Vickie) of Cleveland and Janet Swiger Smith (Rick) of Chattanooga; grandchildren Chad Swiger (Kaitlin), Hilary Smith, and Melanie Smith; great-grandchildren Lauryn Swiger, Cali Swiger, Winnie Swiger, and Brogan Smith; brother Gene Nipper; several nieces and nephews also survive.   

A private graveside service will be held this week.  A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.
