Ella Marie Saint

Ella Marie Saint, 92, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 at her home.  She was a member of the Grace Community Church of God, and had also worked for over 40 years for the Church of God.  She was a Red Cross Volunteer for over 35 years at Bradley Memorial Hospital.  She also worked part time for First Choice Solutions.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Marcellus Fortenberry and Dora Ella Bodine Fortenberry; sisters, Bonnie Wooten, Edna Helton and Bobbie Mason; brother, Eulis Fortenberry; grandchildren, Scotty Rogers and Trena Harrington.

She is survived by four children, Roy Edward Saint and wife Barbara of Cleveland, Barbara Welch and husband A.W. of Cleveland, Betty Rogers and Johnny Payne of Cleveland, and Ranny Saint and wife Jenice of Cleveland; grandchildren, Timothy and Sharon Welch, David Rogers, Ronnie and Sherry Saint, Donnie and Jennifer Saint, Chris and Holly Saint, Angela and Robbie Wilson, and Candee and Jess Patterson of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Christina and Carla Welch, Ethan Rogers Hicks, Triston Rogers, Chace Harris, Carter and Bryant Wilson, Hadley and Bryson Saint, Brantley Saint, Christopher Saint, Aubrey Shickles, Hannah Shickles, and Haleigh Shickles; great-great-grandchild Shelby Holmes, and many nieces and nephews, a very special friend, Judy Bolton, and many friends.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Mendel officiating.  Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery with grandchildren serving as pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at the funeral home.
