She is survived by her two children, daughter, Helen Semak (Andy), and son, Mike Nix (Teresa) all of Cleveland; daughter-in-law, Janet Nix, wife of the late Wesley Nix; daughter of her heart, Charlotte Cross (Ronnie); nine grandchildren, Sherri Roe (Mitchell), Deanna Bain (Rob), Dustin Nix, Nathan Nix, Bradley Nix, Ashley Curtis (Jeremy), Barry Semak, Greg Sneed (Cathy), and Bradley Sneed (Lauren); ten great-grandchildren, Sarah Roe, Colton Roe, Eli Bain, Bella Kate Bain, Alexis Curtis, Grant Curtis, Austin, Justin, Matthew and Tristin Lowder; one great-great-grandchild, Neyland Lowder; three siblings, Mary Leonard (Everett), Barbara Bullard (Ronnie), and Jackie Sledge (Cho); and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2020 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Anthony Howard and Reverend James Vaughn officiating.  Interment will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery with Nathan Nix, Bradley Nix, Mitchell Roe, Colton Roe, Rob Bain, and Eli Bain serving as pallbearers.  Greg Sneed, Bradley Sneed, and James Arp will serve as honorary pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2019 at the funeral home.

Her family would like to thank all the nurses from Hearth Hospice that took such good care of her.
