Doug Heming

Douglas “Jaw Man” Heming, 60,  a resident of Johnson City, TN passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 in Chattanooga, TN. Doug grew up in Cleveland, TN and graduated from Bradley Central High School where he played football. Doug later became a physical therapist. He was an avid softball player and runner and loved anything involving athletics.

He was preceded in death by his father Jay L. Heming from Farner, TN, and his siblings Dewayne John Heming and Sonja Jo Heming from Copper Basin, TN. h

He is survived by his wife Alinda Heming of Johnson City, TN, his mother Frances Louise Heming of Blue Ridge, GA and his children Ryan Douglas Heming of Cleveland, TN, Heidi Heming of Louisville, KY, Coleman Lawrence Heming of Lexington, KY; Sonia Jo Heming of Nice, France; and his aunt Ruth Ann Dilbeck from Blue Ridge, GA. 

The family will have a Visitation from 4:00-5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17th  at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Life Spring Foundation at https://bit.ly/givelifespring to help support those suffering from addiction.
