Dorothy Green Carroll

Dorothy Green Carroll, 95, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 in a local hospital. Mrs. Carroll was the daughter of the later Joseph Prince Green and Myrtle Foster Green.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Roy Carroll, in 2008; brothers, Jack, Sam, and Bill Green; sister; Irene Green Sanders; and great-granddaughter, Laura Beth Miles.

She is survived by her daughter, Joan Carroll Elliott and husband, Stephen of Cleveland; grandson, Jeffrey Elliott and wife, Emily of Cleveland; granddaughter, Amanda Miles of Woodstock, GA; great-grandchildren, Bryce Elliott, Benjamin Miles, and Carol Lynn Elliott; several nieces and nephews also survived.

A private family graveside service will be held at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Compassion Fund of North Cleveland Baptist Church or the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chattanooga.
