Dorlene Patricia Wallace

Dorlene Patricia Wallace, age 63, of Cleveland, TN, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at home surrounded by her family.  Dorlene was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother, and friend.  She loved working in her vegetable and flower gardens and sharing the bounty with her family and friends.  She was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church.  

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, April Dawn Wallace; her parents, Gilbert and Dorothy Crowder; and six siblings.  

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Wesley Carmly of Cleveland, TN, Julie and Richard Gray of Rising Fawn, GA; grandsons, who she adored, Gunar Gray, Kennesaw, GA, and Gage Gray, Rising Fawn, GA; husband, John Ingram, Cleveland, TN; three sisters, Rosie Freeman, Virginia Webb, and Marlene Long; several nieces and nephews who Dorlene dearly loved; and a host of wonderful friends.  

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022, beginning at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Hixon, officiating.  Special memories may be shared by family and friends.  

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the service.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga's team of caregivers for their loving care during this difficult time.  For all those who brought goods, sent a card, and offered prayers, we say thank you and God bless each of you.  A special note of thanks to Wanda and Ralph Fischer for the love and support you have shared with us.
