Debra Williams, 64, a resident of Charleston passed away to her heavenly home on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Debra fought a lengthy illness, was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her and who are left here to cherish the precious memories that were left behind. She was recently retired from Tennova Healthcare, where she worked as a Registered Nurse. Debra was a faithful member of the North Cleveland Church of God, where she loved and worshipped the Lord. She is survived by her beloved and only daughter, Jackie Williams of Charleston. Also left to mourn her loss is her precious mother, Alberta King also of Charleston. She leaves behind her sister, Crystal and John Garrett of West Virginia and her brother, Tim King of Cleveland, nephew Alex King of Cleveland and niece Miranda and Matt Saunders of West Virginia along with her great niece Ily, who she dearly loved. A Memorial of Debra’s life will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 6:00 pm in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Williams officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones two hours prior to the service. The family has requested a private interment into her mausoleum at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Even upon her death, Debra wanted to leave behind a scripture for those who loved her to cherish and refer to and that scripture was, 2 Timothy 4:7-8. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me, the crown of righteousness which the Lord, the righteous Judge will give me on the day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing. For all who are facing battles and seeking strength and comfort that only God can provide, she leaves you Psalms 46:10. Be still and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation; I will be honored throughout the world. You may share a memory or send a condolence at www.ralphbuckner.com.
