David Shreve

August 14, 1961 — January 15, 2022

David Clark Shreve, 60, passed away at his home on Saturday, January 15, 2022 in Ocoee, Tennessee, following a six-year battle with cancer.  He had lived in Athens, GA, most of his life and was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan.  He was an Aircraft Technician for more than 30 years.  He moved to Chattanooga in 2016.  He attended the First Baptist Church of Cleveland.  He loved cars, music, and was known for his sarcastic sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don Shreve and Lucille Barnes Shreve.

He is survived by his wife, Shawn Riley Shreve; three children, Josh Walters of Phoenix, AR, Matthew Walters of Pensacola, FL, and Chandler Shreve of Knoxville, TN; two sisters, Dawn Ann Cramer and husband Steve of Sandy, UT, and Dale Farmer and husband Clyde of Johns Island, SC; and nephews, Chris Cramer of West Valley City, UT, and Ben Smith of Johns Island, SC.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Bartlee Norton officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
