Coulbourne “Coby” Thomas Rader

 

Coulbourne Thomas Rader, 35, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023, in a local healthcare facility, with his family by his side. Coby had lived in the area his entire life, and was to be married this fall. He was fun-loving, kind, faithful, and adored animals. He had a big heart and loved his family above all. He was of the Baptist Faith and was a veteran of the US Army National Guard, having served two tours of duty in Iraq.

 

He is survived by his adoring fiancé, Stephanie Glover; his parents, C.F. Tom Rader (Kim), and Katherine Elaine Green; two sisters, Christy Lawson (Shane) of Birchwood, and Alexis Green of Ooltewah; and his faithful dogs, Stella and KP. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

 

 

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Chattanooga National Cemetery Reverend David Evans officiating with Cade Lawson, Gage Lawson, Chaz Lawson, Justin Johnson, Corey Stuman, and Tony Boes  serving as pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.

 

In lieu of flowers, Coby’s family request that donations be made either to the Who Saved Whom Dog Rescue Organization or to the SPCA of Bradley County.
