Christopher Jonathan Ellis

November 26, 1981 — October 6, 2021

Christopher Jonathan Ellis, 39, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Chattanooga, TN.  He was a member of Burlington Heights Baptist Church and was employed in the Construction industry.

He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Johnny Ellis; his Grandfather, J.B. Crowe, and his Grandmother, Irene Crowe.

He is survived by his Grandmother, Lois Ellis of Cleveland; his parents, Bill Ellis and Kathy Crowe Ellis of Cleveland; his sister, Catrina Long (Darrell) of Benton; his twin brother Jeremiah Ellis of Cleveland; his brother, Elijah Ellis of Cleveland, niece Rachel Ellis of Benton, Niece, Miah Ellis of Cleveland, nephew Will Long of Benton, as well as several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, October 11, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Rev. Homer Roberts officiating.  Interment will at Cohulla Baptist Church Cemetery with Steve Ellis, Richard Ellis, Dennis Ellis, Cody Ellis, Joe Akins, and Jeff Crowe serving as pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony and the playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021 prior to the service at the funeral home.
